Fuming with anger, a husband stormed into a friend’s house, his face red with fury. “I’m beside myself,” he exclaimed. “My wife is cheating on me with a painter!”
His friend listened sympathetically as the husband recounted the suspicious signs he had discovered.
“I found traces of paint in our bed,” he seethed, clenching his fists.
His friend’s eyebrows shot up in surprise, but then a mischievous grin spread across his face. “Well, it’s a good thing she’s not cheating on you with a decorator,” he quipped.
