The students exchanged puzzled glances, unsure of what to make of the question.
After a moment of silence, Johnny’s hand shot up eagerly.
Mrs. Parks nodded towards him, suppressing a smile.
Johnny, with a confident grin, declared, “The pupil of the eye, Mrs. Parks! When it’s dark, it dilates to let in more light, increasing its size!” The class erupted into laughter as Mrs.
