A famous American golfer is invited to go to China to play in a prestigious tournament

Excited about the opportunity to showcase his skills on an international stage, he arrives in China ready to compete. However, upon his arrival, he discovers that the organizers have paired him with a local caddy who doesn’t speak a word of English.

Despite the language barrier, the golfer tries to communicate with his caddy using gestures and hand signals. On the first hole, he pulls out his driver and points towards the fairway, hoping the caddy will understand. The caddy nods enthusiastically and hands him a putter.

Perplexed but determined, the golfer tries again on the next hole, this time pointing towards the green with his wedge. The caddy nods once more and hands him a sand wedge.

Frustrated but still optimistic, the golfer continues to play the round, with the caddy consistently misunderstanding his club choices. Finally, on the 18th hole, with the tournament slipping away, the golfer decides to take matters into his own hands. He pulls out his putter, walks confidently to the green, and sinks a 30-foot putt for birdie.

Ecstatic, the golfer turns to his caddy and says, “See, that’s what I’m talking about! Why couldn’t you understand me earlier?”

The caddy smiles and replies, “Sorry, sir. I thought you said you wanted to play ‘ping pong’!”
